Flughafen, dann Reykjavik, rein in den Jeep. Erst vermisst man als Bayer natürlich noch die Bäume, aber das geht nach 30 Minuten vorbei. Schnell merkt man, dass dieses auf den ersten Blick öde Land anders ist, als sämtliche Orte an denen man davor war, denn die isländische Landschaft ändert sich unentwegt. Farben, Gestein, Wolken alles ist durchgehend im Wandel und bleibt doch gleich.

Die Musik auf Firnwalds 14ten Longplayer tut dem gleich. Zwar ist eine rote Linie in den 32 Minuten zu erkennen, welche sich aber verändert, sich um Felsen schlingt und dann mit dem Wind verschwindet. Ambient, welcher Landschaften beschreibt und Klänge welche die Reise erzählen.
